Yesterday was my 33rd birthday. I took the day off. I tried to fill the day with things I love. I wish I could have done more. I started the day grabbing a pastry for breakfast, then heading into town, meeting a friend for lunch. I had booked a wet shave for 1pm, but missed it, due to traffic; I had to rebook for today at 1:45. I have a full beard at the moment, I think I'll ask for it to be turned into a Goatee.

Yesterday, was a fairly productive day. I went for a run along the Thames, then in the afternoon headed to my third ever Capoeira class. The first lesson was two weeks ago, it left me on a high, days afterwards my body just ached all over. The Brazilian marshal art is part fight, part dance, part game, part philosophy. Whenever you train, there's always Capoeira music that accompanies the practise. The music gives you strength, it has a rhythm that you can move to, it's very motivational. I've included one of the songs with this post.

Last night I had a party. Next Wednesday will be my birthday, I'll be 33 years old. Wow, time moves way, way, too fast. It's like water slipping through my hands and I know I can't do anything to catch it, to slow it down; just enjoy the waves, and go with the flow. It scares me sometimes. Anyway, the party was partly due to my birthday, partly a house warming and partly an excuse for a good time. I moved in in March, so the house warming should have been done sooner.
